Psy. Zeynep Şimşek

After completing her undergraduate education in the Psychology Department of Doğuş University with honors, she specialized in adult, family, and couple counseling techniques, as well as anxiety and depression.

In her therapeutic approaches, she adopts Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Additionally, she continues her training and supervision in the Dynamic Psychotherapy approach, incorporating a holistic perspective into her assessment processes.

In her past professional experience, she worked as a trainee psychologist at Göztepe Semiha Şakir Children’s Home Site, psychological counseling centers, and clinics. As part of the DEPSDA project with the Turkish Psychological Association, she participated as a volunteer psychologist in psychosocial support activities for disadvantaged groups in the ISO Container City in Antakya, Hatay. Later, she took an active role in Adıyaman Central, K6 Container City, conducting individual counseling, group psychoeducation programs, parental counseling, and home visits to assess individuals’ psychological support needs.

As a volunteer psychologist, she continues to engage in psychosocial support activities at the Bursa Branch of the Turkish Psychological Association and various NGOs. As of 2025, she is accepting clients at ETERNA Psychological Counseling and Healthy Living Center, located in Meditown Bursa Medical Center.
