Dr. Metin Yurdakoş

Dr. Metin Yurdakoş, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, began his medical career as a Medical Lieutenant within the Turkish Armed Forces after graduating from Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Faculty.

He completed his specialization in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy.

While serving as the Health Branch Manager at the 4th Physical Therapy Division Command in Edirne, he conducted seminars on ergonomics for Turkish Armed Forces personnel serving under different conditions.

Following his specialization, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş was appointed to the Turkish Armed Forces Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Hydroclimatology Center in Bursa, where he served as Clinical Chief until 1999.

During this tenure, he conducted research on Physical Therapy Rehabilitation, Spa, and Healthy Living Centers in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, and Canada on behalf of the Turkish Armed Forces.

During his tenure as the Chief Physician at Tatvan Military Hospital, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş retired from the Turkish Armed Forces with the rank of Colonel and settled in Bursa.

He participated in overseas study trips organized by the Bursa Governorship and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to develop spa and health tourism, contributing his knowledge and experience.

Dr. Yurdakoş, aiming to implement his work on rehabilitation, maintaining good health, and improving quality of life, established the ROMMER Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center in 1994, which has since expanded its services under the ROMMER INTERNATIONAL brand since 2006, offering services at an international level.

Yurdakoş has authored five international publications and numerous domestic publications related to his profession.

He currently serves as the President of BUSAT (Bursa Health Tourism Association) and the Chairman of the Health Committee at BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
