What is HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)?

HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound and is a treatment method used in dermatology for skin tightening and facial rejuvenation. It involves the application of ultrasound energy to penetrate the deepest layer of the skin, emitting focused sound waves that promote tightening and firming. Additionally, it stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis in the upper and middle layers of the skin, contributing to a rejuvenating effect. 

How Does HIFU Facial and Skin Rejuvenation Treatment Work?

In the high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) method, molecules in the target area are vibrated, focusing sound waves on the tissues. This process generates heat energy, resulting in tissue damage perceived by the body as wound tissue, prompting new collagen production.
