The "Meditalks - Speaking of Medicine" medical interview series held its first event on International Women's Day.

Organized by Meditown and part of an ongoing series, Meditalks began with a conversation titled “Let’s Talk In Between” featuring Op. Dr. Merve Olgun, Vice President of the Digital Solutions for Gender Equality Association – FEMINUP. The discussion, held exclusively for female employees of Atış Grup at DasDas Smash within the Downtown Entertainment and Lifestyle Center, addressed gender-specific issues faced by working women, particularly focusing on women’s health.

Buket Tanrıseven, Manager of Meditown, expressed that they gathered as female colleagues for the special program on March 8th, and they would leave with achievements and awareness. She then handed over the floor to Op. Dr. Merve Olgun. After the engaging “Let’s Talk In Between” conversation, Tanrıseven highlighted that women from all walks of life experience inequality and discrimination, emphasizing that it is not limited to a certain class of women. She mentioned, “As part of the event, Op. Dr. Merve Olgun, Vice President of FEMINUP, met with our female colleagues to provide insights on women’s health and healthy living practices, which proved to be very beneficial. We have initiated the launch of Meditown’s medical interview series ‘Meditalks – Speaking of Medicine’ on this special day. We plan to continue this interview series regularly with the participation of experts from different fields.”

During the event, Atış Group’s female employees participated in a fun quiz about women’s health, testing their knowledge and gaining new insights and perspectives. The women left the event happily, having enjoyed the delightful cuisine from Smash Restaurant and the opportunity to connect with each other.
