Turkey's largest mixed-use project is opening its doors

As Turkey’s largest mixed-use project, Downtown Life and Entertainment Center prepares to open its doors, the introduction of Meditown, which will provide a new generation healthcare experience in Bursa, was held at the Gönlüferah Hotel with the participation of Bursa’s doctors

The launch event of the project was attended by Atış Companies Group CEO Ahmet Atış, Board Member Metin Atış, Bursa Health Tourism Association President Dr. Metin Yurdakoş, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Protocol and External Relations Department Head Abdülkerim Baştürk, Meditown executives, healthcare professionals, and distinguished doctors. Designed with horizontal architecture and hosting Bursa’s most modern clinics, Meditown Health Center was designed to offer modern and innovative solutions tailored to the changing needs of healthcare professionals and patients. Speaking at the launch event of Meditown Health Center, Atış Companies Group Board Member Metin Atış stated that they aimed to be innovative and pioneering in every field, highlighting that the most important example of this approach was the Downtown Life and Entertainment Center project.

Atış emphasized that Downtown Entertainment and Life Center, which bears the distinction of being Turkey’s largest mixed-use project with its 620,000 square meters of construction area, including a luxury hotel, shopping malls, dining areas, residences, and numerous social amenities, has as one of its most important points, the Meditown Health Center, which will offer a new generation of healthcare services to Bursa. Mentioning that Turkey is one of the important destinations in the world in the field of health tourism, Atış said, “Meditown Health Center was planned with a working concept that will include Bursa’s doctors in the global health tourism network. Within this framework, the consultation services of our doctors located in Meditown, consisting of 32 clinics, will be provided by professionals who speak multiple foreign languages. Furthermore, our doctors can receive agency services from Meditown’s health tourism offices established in six countries. We believe that a concept where healthcare services interact with accommodation, dining, shopping, and even art will meet all the needs of the new social order.”

Highlighting the feature of being the first with its clinics located within the mixed-use concept, which will offer a different healthcare experience in every aspect, Atış stated that they planned to host more than 15 million people annually at the shopping mall and healthcare facility. Dr. Metin Yurdakoş, President of Bursa Health Tourism Association, stated in his speech at the launch that the designed healthcare experience and modern doctor clinics of Meditown had no equivalent in Turkey. Dr. Yurdakoş emphasized that Meditown would be a concept where doctors could provide healthcare services in a modern environment with all needs met and where patients’ every need would be addressed. He expressed his belief that our doctors would achieve success well beyond their goals with Meditown and that the international client portfolio support of Meditown would be a rapid supporter for our doctors to achieve their goals in health tourism. Dr. Yurdakoş thanked Atış Companies Group for bringing Meditown to Bursa, which we believe will make significant contributions to our doctors and their work in health tourism. In addition to the launch event, Meditown Project Coordinator Ramazan Özgür, Corporate Brand and Marketing Coordinator Buket Tanrıseven, and Meditown Medical Coordinator Dr. Melike Kasap provided detailed information about the new generation healthcare concept to attending doctors and healthcare professionals.
